The Philippine stock market seems to be in an unstoppable bull run. Some stocks prices of selected blue chip companies surges 10% or more in a single day. And it seems that they are not just based on a speculation frenzy but more on solid fundamentals of Philippine companies which registered higher than expected forecasted growth.
With the dynamic and able leadership shown by Filipino leaders, the Philippines is finaly realizing its potential that has been kept in inertia over decades.
Being in a environment with good governance and solid macroeconomic fundamentals, all Filipinos are now showing great ability in transforming their
economy into one of the tigers in the World.Despite the depression that is plaguing the US and European markets, the Philippines is doing the opposite in its performance. It is on a construction boom, everywhere you go new buildings and establishments are buing built and they are most likely already reserved by prospective occupants and will not become idle building or office space capacity.
The growth of its BPO sector has already overtaken India and is poised to provide the Philippines more than $100 billion in revenue.
The Philippine stock market has been
performing well because of the economic fundamentals and business activities that is going on all around the country. Real property stocks are one of the best performers followed by those of top companies and conglomerates that have been known to perform well even when the economy was down.Such conglomerates registered billions of net income as shown in their just released income reports. The trend will continue, just as long as good governance is done by the Philippine Government.
